10 days in and I’ve figured out the trick to surviving this challenge: Eat a balanced meal. Did this seem obvious to anyone else? It somehow didn’t to me (#flibbertigibbet).
Take this morning for example—I was able to eat a scrambled egg, 2 strips of (fake) bacon, a hash brown, and a cup of sliced pineapple—all because I limited myself to one serving of each. Aha!
So, for tonight’s dinner, instead of just making mac and cheese (don’t judge me, it’s Sunday), I’m going to add a baked potato, a cup of broccoli, and a few (fake) chicken nuggets to the mix. Is that hitting all the macronutrients or what? I’m so proud of myself.
