Smoothie #8…Was Totally Great

After a terrible smoothie #6, and only a “pretty good” smoothie #7, I’m happy to report that smoothie #8 was—as I wrote in the title—totally great. I found the recipe on a site called Two Peas and Their Pod and would 100% recommend it to everyone.

On a side note: Are you afraid of green smoothies? Don’t be! This recipe has 2 cups of spinach in it and I promise, you can’t even taste it. Talk about an easy way to eat your greens…

Pineapple Mango Green Smoothie Recipe


I experimented with a new smoothie ingredient this week too: flax seeds. You just toss a tablespoon into your smoothie and it provides you with a healthy dose of omega-3 fatty acids, protein, fiber, iron, and calcium (just to name a few). Next up to try: Chia seeds.
